Why Going To School In Canada Is A Good Choice For Immigrants

Because this has become a priority program, often in giving advice to clients who have dreams of immigrating, we will point them in the direction of the student program.

It doesn’t work for everyone, but many people who pursue the regular immigration route could be languishing for years. The processing time is 7-plus years at some visa posts for regular skilled workers. It’s also sadly common that people have an advanced education from their home country and it’s wasted. They can’t use it here because employers won’t recognize it, or because educational or accreditation institutions won’t recognize their education, or because people here just don’t have the same confidence in a foreign education as they do in a Canadian one. In terms of long-term planning for immigrating to Canada, going to school here on a student visa is by far the best way to qualify for future immigration to Canada.
